"Hi there! My name is Kendall and I am one of the Dental Assistants at BDD. I started my dental journey in 2012 as a Dental Assistant and I continued my education to become an EFDA (Expanded Functions Dental Assistant) in 2016. I know being at the dentist is not everyone's favorite place to be, trust me… but I hope that we can change that for you! I feel so thankful to work alongside Dr. Castle and the other girls at BDD who I would consider good friend. I hope that you can sense that welcoming feeling not only from the staff, but from the office as well.
One of my favorite things about dentistry is the ever changing technology so we can provide our patients with the best! My favorite treatments are smile transformations. Just seeing how a smile can not only transform someone’s smile, but their personality and the ability to be able to smile again, that is what I love!
On my days off work I enjoy spending time with my husband and our daughter, Emery. We enjoy being outside, going on walks, and cheering on the Buckeyes! Thanks for learning a little bit about me.
I can’t wait to meet you!
"In high school I knew that I wanted to do something in the medical field and I definitely feel like God led me to be a dental hygienist.
Since joining the Brighter Days Dental team in 2013 I have enjoyed learning new technologies that have allowed me to expand my skills to better serve our patients. Over the years I have cherished building and establishing relationships with patients-sharing laughs, hugs, and tears along the way.
I am passionate about being able to create a comfortable, trusting environment for patients to have a positive experience where any pre conceived dental anxiety can melt away. It is a privilege to be a part of a dental team that functions like a supportive family-everyone is willing to jump in and help out where they are needed. It is a blessing to work with friends! Outside of work my family and I are active in our church and community. We have fun attending sporting events, traveling, and being outdoors as much as possible."
"Hi! My name is Sarah, and I have been with the Brighter Days Dental team since 2021. I am originally from Texas, but also lived in Virginia and Kentucky before arriving in Ohio. My husband, Mike, and I have four children and three crazy dogs! We like to go to amusement parks, county fairs and festivals, watch movies, and travel when we get the opportunity. I love DIY home projects, but my husband is always apprehensive of my next “big idea,” since he knows it will keep him very busy!
I have loved working with the staff and patients at BDD! I help patients schedule appointments and answer insurance and financial questions. As someone who was terrified of going to the dentist as a child, I love the cozy, laid-back feeling here at Brighter Days. It helps put both staff and patients at ease during what could normally be a stressful experience. Our team loves to go the extra mile to help make our patients happy and healthy! I appreciate Dr. Castle’s genuine kindness. It is a joy coming to work with such a wonderful dentist who is truly interested in the lives of her staff and patients!"
"Hi everyone! My name is Megan. I am dental hygienist here at Brighter Days and I could not be more grateful.
A little bit about me is that I love going hikes with my husband and our dog. Trying out new restaurants is also at the top of my list. I love making people laugh, even if it’s just a random dance move or a good old fashioned joke!
Working with a team of wonderful, kind, passionate, and intelligent teammates is such a blessing. We get to work in a beautiful office, with an awesome team, and help so many amazing people along the way. Being in the dental field has provided me with a viewpoint that everyone has to start somewhere. There is no need for judgment, just compassion, education, and quality treatment."
"It was my mom who gave me the idea of going into the dental field. She was a dental assistant and I used to love visiting her at work. After receiving my dental hygiene degree at Rhodes State College I found my dental workplace home at Brighter Days Dental. Here I am blessed with the opportunity to work in a positive environment where everyone is passionate about building personal relationships. Building relationships with patients is truly my favorite part of my job. I look forward to it every time I come to work. My husband I live in New Bremen with our 3 crazy kids. In my spare time I like to take runs with my sister, and do anything that keeps me outside!"
"Hi there! My name is Randi, and I started my career as a dental assistant in 2014! For me, dental assisting means so much more to me than just helping the doctor with completing appointments.
Developing relationships with patients, helping them feel at ease in the dental office, and understanding patients goals and expectations have became huge passions of mine.
I believe having a positive attitude, communicating, and paying attention to small details are very important aspects with being a dental assistant that I can offer! Assisting patients through their smile transformation is very rewarding for me because I love helping people gain confidence in themselves and their smile!
I look forward to making your appointment brighter at Brighter Days Dental!"
